Yes. The are several DIY (do it yourself) videos that you can follow to replace the foam on the heater and air conditioner separator flaps, which is at the root of the problem. These repairs are time-intensive, may require specialized tools to perform and often involve altering your Porche's original construction.
Without Vision Vents and outside of a DIY project, the only proper solution to this problem is a very costly repair that necessitates the removal of the complete dashboard in order to access the heater and air conditioner separator flaps within the HVAC housing.
No. Vision Vents are designed to be installed by the purchaser without requiring assistance from an auto mechanic. Vision vents are very simple to install. Product installation instructions are provided with each purchase.
No. Vision Vents are not permanently attached to your dash and can thus be easily removed. However, given that Vision Vents can be adjusted when the defrost function is needed, there is no reason for removing the Vision Vents.
Vision Vents are custom painted to match original Porsche color chips; however, color variances are possible due to the matching process. Also, due to the wear and fading that naturally takes place during a vehicle's use, Vision Vents are not guaranteed to exactly match your vehicle's interior color.
Yes. Although Vision Vents are offered in three base colors (Black, Stone Grey, Sand Beige), we can custom paint units to match any of the original Porsche color chips for the model years offered. Custom colors are available at an additional cost.
Vehicle dashboards are exposed to temperature extremes. As a result, the working temperature tolerance for Vision Vents is -85F to 275F (-65C to 135C).
For domestic and international shipments, we work closely with the United States Postal Service (USPS) to provide a competitive shipping experience. Exact shipping charges are determined at the time of checkout based on the delivery address and the shipping method selected. USPS provides First-Class, Priority and Priority Express service delivery options. Orders can be shipped internationally, subject to the destinations served by the USPS.

Yes. Given the nature of the custom manufacturing process, some products may not be available at the time of order placement.
All sales are final. We do not accept returns. The only exchanges are for approved warranty claims.
Vision Vents warrants its product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. For an approved warranty claim, we will replace the defective unit with the same product purchased.
